Your role
* Own and direct teams undertaking technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, to high‑quality levels.
* Define briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
* Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
* Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Set quality assurance standards in design.
* Grow, develop and manage engineering capability within the practice.
About You
* Chartered Civil Engineer or equivalent.
* Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
* Comprehensive knowledge in design such as flood walls and embankments, weirs, hydraulic structures, culverts, scour protection, access and accessibility, and construction logistics.
* Familiarity with current UK design standards, guidance and working practices.
* Proficiency in delivering both traditional engineering and environmentally‑focused solutions using nature‑based strategies.
