We have an exciting opportunity to join our Programme Management discipline within our Advisory Services team in Energy, ideally based in London, Edinburgh or Glasgow, with travel as required.
As a Senior Consultant, you will play a leading role in supporting the mobilisation, assurance and delivery improvement of major capital programmes across the UK energy sector. You’ll work at the heart of complex investment programmes, helping clients strengthen governance, controls, planning and delivery capability, while engaging closely with senior leadership teams and key stakeholders.
Our Programme Management Group has a strong track record of delivering advisory and transformation services across the UK’s energy, water and transport sectors. As demand continues to grow, this role offers the opportunity to lead high‑value assignments, shape delivery approaches and contribute to the continued growth of our programme management capability.
As a Senior Consultant, you will take ownership of client‑facing workstreams focused on programme mobilisation, governance, PMO and delivery improvement. You will work across a range of complex capital investment portfolios, providing practical, insight‑led advice to help clients improve programme performance.
In this role, you will directly influence the successful delivery of some of the UK’s most significant energy investment programmes.
You will have relevant experience in programme management, PMO, project controls or capital delivery, gained within a consultancy environment or working on large‑scale infrastructure programmes. You will hold a degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant discipline such as Project Management, Business Management, Engineering, Science or Technology.
You are analytical, commercially aware and delivery‑focused, with the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex programme environments. You can confidently engage with senior stakeholders, facilitate discussions and clearly communicate insights and recommendations through high‑quality written and visual materials.
Professional accreditation such as APM, MSP, P3O, PRINCE2 or equivalent would be advantageous, and we actively support continued professional development and accreditation.
If you are looking to combine strong programme delivery expertise with advisory insight and client‑facing responsibility, we would love to hear from you.
