A well-established financial planning firm is seeking a Wealth Adviser to take over a retiring advisor’s client book and support both new and existing clients in achieving their financial goals. The role exists to help clients define their short- and long-term objectives and to contribute to the ongoing development of the firm’s client portfolio across South and West Wales. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their individual circumstances and financial aspirations. Advisers will create tailored financial plans, combining immediate and long-term strategies, and use cash flow modelling and other planning tools to provide structured advice. Meetings will take place both face-to-face and virtually. The position also includes developing intergenerational connections and identifying referral opportunities within the client base. Professional knowledge will be applied to remain compliant with regulatory requirements and to deliver advice in line with Consumer Duty responsibilities. The role may appeal to individuals with vast experience in HNW financial planning, with a proven ability to manage long-term client relationships. Candidates should have experience conducting client meetings, creating personalised plans, and using cash flow modelling to support financial recommendations. Strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment are important. Level 6 / Chartered status is desirable but not essential.
