What you will be doing

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead delivery of an OrpheusWorks demonstrator programme as it moves into its NPI Phase. In this role you will be responsible for enabling the operational delivery of the programme through blending people leadership, programme management and agile ways of working.

Responsibilities

This Programme Manager role is accountable for enabling effective flow of value across the programme scrums. Operating with agile ways of working this role ensures that dependencies, risk and priorities are managed across the programme while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, alignment and delivery excellence.

1. Proven ability of leading high performing teams to deliver
2. Solid experience in programme planning, risk management, budget oversight and resource management
3. Able to operate in an ambiguous environment and confident in navigating the Rolls-Royce organisation
4. Clear and effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and collaboration skills
5. Experience of operating in an agile environment would be beneficial but not necessary

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets we can only progress applications from individuals who are a UK national or, in MoD approved cases, a dual national.
