Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to support the growth and development of social enterprises and SMEs across theHighlands and Islands (and beyond!) and shape the future of social enterprise support in Scotland.
Key tasks
* Deliver business support services as a business adviser for the Just Enterprise contract. This is often donejointly with a colleague.
* Contribute to the development and delivery of workshops for the JustEnterprise contract and other clients.
* Contribute to the delivery of other contract work, e.g. communityconsultation, options appraisals, feasibility studies and business plans.
* Provide 1-2-1 business adviceto third sector and community organisations, often remotely but sometimes in person, involvingtravel.
* Represent the company at events on an occasional basis to promote the Just Enterprise contractand the other services we deliver.
* Provide support in the o ice for hosting of the space when needed –eg helping to set up meeting rooms, responding to the public and members’ enquiries.

You willhave experience engaging with customers and your excellent communication skills will help you supporthouseholders and relay technical information to a non-technical audience. You will require good IT skills andhave a stable internet connection.
Home Energy Scotland is a free, impartial advice service funded by the Scottish Government and managed by the EnergySaving Trust. Changeworks has been involved in delivering the service for 16 years, and currently manages advicecentres in South East Scotland and the Highlands and Islands.
With the energy crisis affecting so many people, we are also looking for Energy Advisors to join our CommunityEngagement and Energy Advice Service where you’ll be at the forefront of supporting householders in fuel povertywith fuel billing, debt and advocacy support. You will have experience of providing advice to householders tosupport them to adopt energy efficient behaviours.
Throughout the directorate, we provide high quality advice and information on topics including energy efficiency inthe home, behaviour change, renewable technologies and water. We also support many people who are living in fuelpoverty with access to grants and funding to keep their homes warmer for less. Along with the satisfaction ofhelping people on a daily basis, you’ll also receive an City and Guilds Energy Awareness qualification and joinan organisation consistently rated as a fantastic place to work.
The ideal candidate and the role
To be successful in this role you should have a passion for helping and supporting people and be a confidentcommunicator. Our advisors speak to a wide range of customers with varied enquiries on a daily basis, providingthem with high quality advice tailored to their circumstances and empowering them to take action and changetheir behaviours.
You will join a team of customer-focused energy advisors in a fast-paced environment, taking inbound calls and makingoutbound calls to our existing customers. An interest in the environment and sustainability would be anadvantage but is not essential, as full training will be given.
In return you can expect
We will start to grow your knowledge of our services and energy efficiency straight away. The Energy Advisorinduction programme includes the City and Guilds Energy Awareness in the Home qualification. We will support thesuccessful applicants with ongoing coaching, mentoring and development.
£23,366 to £24,993 per annum, based on a 35-hour working week
£25,035 to £26,778 per annum, based on a 37.5 hour working week
Full time - 37.5 hours per week for Home Energy Scotland South East
35 hours per week for Home Energy Scotland Highlands & Islands and Community Engagement and Energy AdviceServices teams

As a Centre Activities Coordinator, you will play a vitalrole in developing and delivering our brain health and dementia support programs at our centre in Inverness

You'll play a key role in liaising withstakeholders from Health and Social Care, NHS, and the wider community to enhance service delivery and raiseawareness about brain health.
Greet and welcome visitors to the centre, ensuring they sign in the visitor’s book and informing the relevant memberof staff of their arrival, receive and transfer telephone calls and take brief messages, when necessary,dependent on the needs of the centre, as directed by the Centre Manager.
The Centre Activity Coordinator will support the daily running of the Centre, being a local point of contact forCentre visitors, and carrying out the associated administrative tasks. Produce a monthly programme detailing theservices available, as outlined by the Centre Manager, and promote this widely across the networks.
Collate salary information (if applicable) and ensure that details are properly authorised and with the PayrollAdministrator by the due date each month. Receive and bank donations and fundraised monies whilst following thecorrect policies and procedures for these and any other business banking required.
