Nestled in the stunning countryside of Charlwood, Horley, our charming 56-bedroom Country Manor Hotel has recently undergone a full refurbishment, blending rich history with modern elegance. We host a wide variety of events, from corporate meetings and leisure events to weddings, private parties, and banqueting. As a family-run business with a vision for growth, we’re looking for passionate, customer-oriented individuals to join our team and help us create unforgettable experiences for our guests.
Location:Charlwood, Horley
Salary:£29,000 - £31,000 per year
Hours:Full-time, 40 hours per week (5 days)

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Deliver Exceptional Service:Build and maintain relationships with clients by providing outstanding customer service, encouraging repeat business, and managing enquiries with care and professionalism.
* Sales and Business Development:Proactively identify sales opportunities during client interactions and events, aiming to secure future bookings and events.
* Collaborate with the Events Manager:Work alongside the Events Manager to develop and implement strategies to boost business, focusing on under-performing periods and generating new opportunities.
* Host Events & Engage with Clients:Run events from start to finish. Represent the hotel at trade shows, wedding fairs, and client show-rounds, all while maintaining strong product knowledge and enthusiasm.
* Team Player:Develop strong working relationships with colleagues across departments, ensuring smooth operations and maximum guest satisfaction.
What We’re Looking for:
* Customer-Centric Attitude:A friendly, approachable personality who loves interacting with people and making them feel at home.
* of experience in event sales or a related hospitality field, with a proven track record of driving business.
* Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients.Tech-Savvy:A good understanding of technology and basic computer skills to manage client information and sales processes efficiently.Organized & Efficient:Strong time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.Transport:Own transportation is essential as we’re located in a beautiful countryside area that is not directly accessible via public transport.Perks
