Vehicle Technician in Bolton
1. Location: Bolton
2. Working Hours: 40 hours per week + Saturday morning overtime
3. Salary: Up to £44,000 OTE
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established motor group, now looking for skilled Vehicle Technicians and MOT Testers to strengthen their growing aftersales team.
Key Responsibilities for a Vehicle Technician:
4. Road test vehicles and diagnose faults
5. Carry out servicing, repairs, and inspections to manufacturer standards
6. Complete MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations (where qualified)
7. Maintain accurate documentation and job cards
8. Work within agreed timeframes while maintaining high productivity
9. Collaborate with service advisors and parts teams to ensure excellent customer service
10. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician:
11. Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
12. MOT licence (desirable but not essential for technician-only applications)
13. Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
14. Ability to work efficiently and independently
15. High attention to detail and commitment to quality
16. Full UK driving licence
