The Department of Economics is looking to appoint an experienced administrator to support the smooth delivery of the undergraduate teaching programmes within the Department in order to deliver an outstanding teaching and learning experience for undergraduate students.
The Undergraduate Office is a busy, thriving area with a large student cohort and lots of both face‑to‑face and online contact with students and staff. Dealing with module registration, timetabling, assessments, feedback, examinations, mitigating circumstances and other student queries, your workload will be busy, varied and interesting. You will also be expected to support and participate in student events, such as open days, student enrolment, and graduation.
About You
* Educated to A‑Level standard or equivalent, with relevant experience in a student administration role in the higher education sector.
* Organised, high level of IT literacy and ability to prioritise a varied workload while working independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills, combined with ability to build and manage effective relationships with both staff and students.
