Purpose
You will be responsible for the delivery of Document Control for all SPT projects, including leading the staff involved and ownership of the document management system (DMS).
What you’ll be doing
1. Managing, mentoring, and coordinating all SPT Projects' document controllers to ensure the implementation of document management processes across all departments, including chairing monthly meetings.
2. Assessing probationary reviews, supporting Line Manager with performance appraisals, and setting objectives for all document controllers.
3. Serving as the main point of contact for the SPT Projects DMS, including process, access, training, communication, and system development, and resolving daily issues.
4. Acting as the business representative and SME on the future replacement of the existing DMS, including specifying requirements and accepting proposed solutions.
5. Developing and maintaining internal project document inspections to ensure standards are met and addressing issues as they arise.
6. Representing SPT Projects as a member of the Cambuslang Office Depot Management Team.
7. Onboarding, inductions, and training new team members on Document Control processes and procedures.
What you’ll bring
1. Experience in leading and managing a team directly and as a function lead.
2. Experience dealing with people at various levels across the business.
3. Working knowledge of Document Management Systems, Projectwise, ACC.
4. Proven experience working with a portfolio of projects.
5. Experience using IBUY.
6. Ability to analyze and present information logically.
7. Strong skills in MS Office tools and administration.
8. Experience in report writing.
9. Quality auditing qualification.
10. Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 19650 BIM.
11. Proactive issue resolution skills.
12. Proven ability to work in a team environment.
13. Enthusiastic and flexible approach to work.
14. Empathy and good relationship skills.
