Class 2 (Cat C) Driver - Alfreton

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 2 (Cat C) Driver on behalf of our client based in the Alfreton area. This is an excellent opportunity offering a potential permanent position after a successful trial period.
The Role:
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries across the UK, ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.
Duties Include:
* Multi-drop deliveries using HGV Class 2 vehicles and vans
* Conducting vehicle checks before and after shifts
* Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant
* Completing and maintaining accurate delivery paperwork
* Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles
* Liaising with customers, suppliers, and transport teams
* General housekeeping and health & safety compliance
Working Hours:
* Start times between 5am and 7am
* Typical 10 hour days
* Flexibility required for early starts, late finishes, overnight stays (although these are not common)
Requirements:
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Previous HGV driving experience
* Flexible and reliable approach to work
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Basic IT skills (emails / systems)
