Role Description
This is an on-site contract position for a New Engineering Contract Specialist, based in Coventry. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and managing engineering contracts to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and key stakeholders to support procurement processes, monitor contractor performance, and resolve contractual issues. Additional responsibilities include analyzing contract data and contributing to continuous process improvements within contract management.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge and experience in engineering contracts, procurement, and compliance
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Proficiency in analyzing contract terms, identifying risks, and providing solutions
* Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks effectively
* Attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and problem-solving capabilities
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
* Professional certifications such as CIPS or equivalent are advantageous
