IRecruit4 are hiring for multiple Machine Operatives for our client in Corsham. This role is working in an Industrial Sewing Department. This position offers fantastic hours, increased pay banding and immediate starts.

Up to £14.00 Per Hour.
Job Duties of the Machine Operator: Carrying out factory operations according to all written and verbal specification, procedure and instructions.
Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, oiling, and minor adjustments.
Identify and report machine malfunctions, material defects, or quality issues to Supervisor/Team Leader.
Adjust machine settings such as stitch length, tension, and speed to suit different materials and designs.
Assemble, stitch, and finish components according to product specifications and quality standards.
Read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, patterns, and sewing instructions.
Operate industrial sewing machines (e.g., lockstitch, overlock, cover stitch, or speciality machines) efficiently and safely.
Handle fabrics, materials, and tools with care to prevent waste or damage.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required, including stock usage and timings.
Control material waste level below set targets following strict guidelines to minimise Customer Complaints.
Maintain production department to a high standard adhering to procedures and policies keeping all areas clean, tidy and safe leading to a disciplined work environment.
Efficiently and safely operate industrial sewing machinery to manufacture high-quality products that meet company specifications, production targets and quality standards.
The role supports the overall manufacturing process by ensuring consistent workmanship, minimal waste, and adherence to health and safety requirements, while contributing to on-time delivery and continuous improvement within the production team.
Additional Information for the Machine Operative: Proven experience as an industrial sewing machine operator or similar role.
Ability to work with various fabrics and materials.
High level of attention to detail and quality.
Strong knowledge of industrial sewing machines and sewing techniques.
Monday to Friday.
08:00 - 17:00
Friday finish at 14:30.
Up to £14.00 Per Hour but dependant on experience.
