Job Summary
We currently have an Assistant Technician 1 vacancy within our Operational Support Group, based at our site in Tranent, East Lothian. Working as an Assistant Technician, you will join a motivated, multi-skilled team responsible for providing logistical support to all operational departments.
Responsibilities include:
* Cleaning of Lab Glassware
* Monitoring and maintaining levels of consumable products
* Maintaining the laboratory in a clean, tidy and presentable fashion
* Reagent formulation
* Chemical disposal
* Non-study specific archiving
* Effective communication and teamwork
* Working to deadlines
* Driving a van and transferring data and materials
* Administrative tasks
The minimum requirements are:
* Three or more Standard Grades
* Full clean driving license with ability to drive transit van with trailer
Salary: £23,842.35 per annum.
