Homestay Accommodation Manager
Location: EF International Language Campus, Torquay
Start Date: 17th of November 2025
Full-time Contract
£29,000 - £31,000 per annum
EF Education First is seeking a proactive and service-oriented Homestay Accommodation Manager to lead our accommodation operations at the EF Torquay International Language Campus.
In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee our homestay and private accommodation network, ensuring every student enjoys a true “home away from home” experience. You’ll manage and inspire a dedicated team, strengthen relationships with hosts and suppliers, and drive continuous improvements in quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. You will manage all aspects of our homestay programme including creating and implementing recruitment plans and marketing campaigns, analysing data to maximize ROI, onboarding & coaching of recruiters, telemarketing and database optimization and providing service to our students & community of hosts. Responsibilities
Manages recruitment, re-registration & monitoring of suitable homestay & private home accommodation
Manages a team of full time and part time homestay coordinators, recruiters and visitors
Supervises the team to ensure their targets are met, provides guidance to the team and makes sure that daily, weekly and quarterly deadlines are met
Manages Lead generation - Identify potential new opportunities and recruitment channels
Ensures students are allocated to appropriate accommodation within EF Gold Standards and in accordance with EF Torquay’s safeguarding policy for under 18’s
Ensures student queries regarding accommodation are handled and logged appropriately with regard for excellent customer service
Monitors student evaluation of accommodation and responds to comments and complaints to ensure a satisfactory resolution
Liaises with finance department to ensure prompt and accurate payment to accommodation providers
Requirements
Team management experience and proven leadership skills

Ability to handle difficult situations with ease & remain calm & positive under pressure
