Job Overview and Responsibilities
* To provide a meet & greet service to all visitors and professionals to the Home
* Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
* Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
* Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
* Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
* Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
* Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
* Supporting the Home Manager in the Homes recruitment processes, .g. reviewing Right To Work documents, references, identification paperwork, DBS checks, interview notes, relevant new starter documentation.
* Reviewing/auditing agency profiles/DBS's and feeding back findings to the Home Manager
* Ordering of labels for residents' laundry
* Provide support with rota planning and People Planner Rota System data entry and swipe card authorisation.
* Agency invoice cross referencing against the Homes People Planner Rota System and providing detailed reports of findings to the Home Manager
* Bedding Audits
* Auditing PPE stock and re-ordering in lien with home budgets
* Auditing/ordering COSHH products in line with home budgets
* Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
* Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
* Update calendars and schedule meetings
* Arrange travel for Residents if required.
* Keep updated records of office expenses and costs for month end reconciliations
* Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and emailing
* Support Residents with telephone calls for banking, setting appointments.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.65 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
