We have an excellent opportunity for a female support worker to work alongside our client in Norwich, Norfolk.
Our client is a young lady in her 20s who enjoys going for walks, listening to music and stories, having her nails done, and engaging in crafts. She is non-verbal, with symptoms of cerebral palsy and epilepsy, including seizures.
Due to the client's support needs, the successful candidate must be female, have complex care experience, and ideally understand seizure management, PEG feeding, medication administration, personal care, pressure area care, and manual handling. A full UK driving licence is also required. The role requires a clear communicator with the motivation and ability to engage the client and build a supportive relationship.
Pay: £13.40 per hour
Hours: 16 hours per week over three days (16:15 - 21:30)
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting and engaging with personalized routines, including hoists.
* Assisting with daily living activities such as personal hygiene and mobility.
* Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
* Providing emotional support and companionship.
* Maintaining accurate care records and reporting changes in the client's condition.
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
