About the Roundhouse

We are now looking for two Venue Technicians to join us on a permanent, full-time basis, working 35 hours per week (excluding breaks).

The Role
As a Venue Technician, you will provide high-quality technical support for all live events and creative projects at the Roundhouse.
Specifically, you will operate and maintain Roundhouse technical equipment, including lighting, audio, staging and seating systems, working closely with staff at all levels to deliver safe, efficient and creative events and projects.
Alongside repairing equipment and supporting productions, you will provide practical support to Roundhouse Studios projects and initiatives, working safely at all times to realise requirements for events.
Please note, this role will involve weekend and evening work as part of our dynamic events calendar.
About You
To be considered as a Venue Technician, you will need:
* Demonstrable technical experience in a professional arts environment
* Experience of lighting design or sound engineering for live music
* Experience of working with Health and Safety regulations
* Practical knowledge of lighting, AV, sound and staging equipment
* Excellent teamwork and time-management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
* Good communication skills
* The flexibility to work unsocial hours and weekends
The successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check, or be willing to undertake one due to the nature of the role.
