Health & Safety and Warehouse CoordinatorWellingborough (Fully On-Site)£38,000 - £45,000Monday-Friday | Flexible start times available07:30-16:0008:00-16:3008:30-17:00The OpportunityWe're working with a specialist construction engineering organisation that supports major building projects across the UK.They're now looking for a Health & Safety & Warehouse Coordinator to take ownership of site safety while supporting day-to-day warehouse operations.This is not a desk-based advisory role - it's a hands-on operational position where you'll play a visible part in improving safety standards and supporting site workflow continuity.If you enjoy being out on the floor, influencing teams, and making real improvements, this role offers genuine ownership and impact.The RoleThis is a dual-responsibility position combining:? 60% Health & Safety ownership? 40% Warehouse operations coordinationYou'll lead Health & Safety compliance across the site while supporting the Warehouse Manager and Shift Supervisor with operational coordination and workflow planning.Key ResponsibilitiesHealth & Safety (Approx.
60%)Own site Health & Safety processes and complianceMaintain risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and safe systems of workEnsure procedures meet current legislation requirementsConduct regular site inspections and monthly reviewsInvestigate incidents and implement corrective actionsIntroduce and manage near-miss reporting initiativesMonitor and report safety KPIsDeliver safety training, coaching, and inductionsSupport First Aid and Fire Marshal compliance programmesLiaise with external partners including Worknest and HSEReview and improve policies and proceduresPromote a proactive safety culture across the siteWarehouse Operations Support (Approx. 40%)Support daily warehouse coordination activityAssist with labour planning and workflow prioritisationSupport shipment sign-off where requiredProvide Shift Supervisor cover when neededAct as Assistant to the Warehouse ManagerHelp maintain smooth operational continuity across siteWork closely with teams to improve efficiency and safety standardsAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is:?
