We are seeking an ambitious and proactive Admin Manager to support the dynamic and evolving needs of the Surgery & Urology Directorate within the STACC division. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced NHS administrator with expertise in RTT Management, Cancer Management, Outpatient Booking, Clinical Administration, and Team Leadership.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing patient pathways, ensuring efficient service delivery, and leading a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of administration, supporting clinical teams, and contributing to the overall improvement of patient services.

Main duties of the job
* Work closely with the Service Manager to support the directorate in achieving performance, utilisation, and efficiency objectives
* Provide practical support and guidance in resolving day-to-day operational admin issues within the directorate
* Assist the management team in meeting local and national targets, taking specific responsibility for delegated areas.
* Monitor patient pathways using the Patient Tracking List (PTL) and take appropriate action to ensure timely progress.
* Provide PTL advice and guidance to staff as required.
* Hold delegated responsibility for administrative tasks related to RTT and cancer pathways, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Qualifications
* Good education or equivalent relevant experience
Experience
* Experience in a customer care environment
* Track record of successful working within a team with different roles
* Relevant experience of working in an NHS acute hospital setting
* Conversant with hospital information systems

* Ability to manage a team
* Ability to negotiate at all levels and work in partnership with all relevant stakeholders
* Excellent communication skills - both verbal, presentation and written
* Good interpersonal, oral and written skills including chairing meetings and writing reports
