We are seeking a LOGISTICS AND WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADER to join our growing team.
Are you an organised, hands-on leader with a passion for driving high performance in warehouse and logistics operations?
As our Logistics & Warehouse Team Leader, you’ll oversee day-to-day warehouse activity, support operational efficiency, and lead a team to deliver exceptional service and accurate fulfilment.
Commutable from Erdington, Sutton Coldfield, Great Barr, Walsall, West Bromwich, Smethwick, Tyseley, Castle Bromwich, Wednesbury, Bilston and Edgbaston
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and support warehouse and logistics staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Oversee goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch processes.
* Ensure all stock movements are recorded accurately and inventory levels are maintained.
* Plan and allocate workload to meet operational deadlines and service requirements.
* Monitor and improve warehouse performance metrics (accuracy, efficiency, safety).
* Working closely with purchasing, production, and customer service teams
* Identify and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce errors.
* Train and develop team members to support ongoing growth.
About You
* Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, orenvironment.
* Previous team leader or supervisory experience preferred.
* Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
* Good understanding of warehouse management systems and stock control.
* Able to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and solve problems effectively.
* Forklift licence (counterbalance or reach) desirable but not essential.
* A hands-on approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
