Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. This role is instrumental in driving new client acquisition through strategic prospecting, lead generation, and Account-Based Marketing (ABM). Working closely with the Commercial Director, you will identify, engage, and nurture potential clients, driving opportunities for MRS Digital’s full suite of digital marketing services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential clients through targeted outreach, networking, and inbound marketing strategies.
2. Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Develop and execute personalised campaigns to engage high-value prospects and drive conversion.
3. Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain and update CRM systems with lead information, ensuring accurate tracking of outreach efforts and sales activities.
4. Outbound Sales Activity: Conduct cold and warm outreach via email, phone, and social media to generate appointments and business opportunities.
5. Collaboration with Commercial Director: Work alongside the Commercial Director to align strategies, develop proposals, and convert leads into clients.
6. Market & Industry Research: Stay informed about digital marketing trends and competitive landscapes to refine sales approaches and enhance outreach effectiveness.
7. Pitching & Presentations: Assist in preparing and delivering compelling sales pitches and presentations tailored to potential clients’ needs.
8. Networking & Relationship Building: Represent MRS Digital at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to drive brand awareness and generate new business leads.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in business development, sales, or lead generation, ideally within a digital marketing or agency environment.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing services, including SEO, PPC, and websites.
* Experience with ABM and personalised outreach strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
* Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
* Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho) and sales enablement tools.
* Self-motivated and proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Must have a proven track record of previous successes in business development, demonstrating tangible results in lead generation and sales growth.
