Job Description
We are looking for a Project Director to step into a programme management role across an exciting multi-agency, multi-brand workstream. This is a client-dedicated role. The right candidate will have proven experience on a range of digital and strategic projects, will like to keep a finger on the pulse of everything that is happening on client projects, and will operate at a strategic level, whilst maintaining day to day responsibilities. Reporting, tracking, planning and workload management will come naturally to you, and you will enjoy client conversations, workflow diagrams, and digital project management platforms in equal measure.
As a Project Director, you will be part of a regional team, working on a cross agency integrated account, responsible for the intake and triage of projects across multiple brands, and support of the adaptation and implementation of centrally defined strategic initiatives, across multiple markets.
Key responsibilities:
1. Provide integrated project management support for rollout of core initiatives across multiple client teams
2. Work with the Associate Delivery Director to plan, and lead the way on how to approach a given programme of work or project
3. Track and report on progress across a wide range of activities and initiatives using established templates and tools, and support on administration task
4. Coordinate key meetings, including scheduling, ensuring notes are aggregated, files shared in common locations, and actions noted
5. Understand global governance models and help adapt them to local client needs, ensuring teams are working to clear R&Rs
6. Constantly highlight risks and provide solutions to mitigate them
7. Spearhead ways of working and suggest improvements whenever you see the opportunity
8. Support and mentor other team members ensuring they work in a consistent and effective manner
Qualifications
9. Extensive experience within project management in an agency setting
10. Proven ability to lead large multi-faceted clients and project teams
11. Experience creating production and project strategies for brands or clients
12. Capable of managing full project lifecycle ranging from client brief through strategy, creative, design, copywriting, asset creation, production, execution and delivery
13. Comfortable working with enterprise project management systems, specifically Workfront is a plus
14. Excellent communication, and facilitation skills, being capable of interacting directly with internal/external agency teams and clients, leading discussions with confidence and authority
15. Strong understanding of resource management, forecasting and capacity planning, both short term and longer term
16. Good commercial acumen and ability to manage, understand and report on financial health of projects
17. Digital transformation and integrated accounts experience is advantageous
