ProjectWise Engineer
Location: Remote (Occasional visits to Warrington)
Contract: Inside IR35
Day rate: £550 per day
Duration: 6 months+
Start date: ASAP however will consider candidates on a notice period.
Clearence: Eligible for Security Clearance (sole UK nationals) but can start on a BPSS
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Engineer with a strong background in Bentley Projectwise platforms. The Client is a Global Consultancy whom specialising in providing engineering, technical, professional and construction solutions.
This role will support infrastructure readiness, data governance, and automation across project planning and engineering document management systems. The ideal candidate will bridge project controls with engineering systems to drive consistency, reliability, and cross-system optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
? Provide end-to-end support for CMS and OSR ProjectWise systems.
? Set up new projects using BMS/ISO templates ensure high standards for data and metadata integrity.
? Administer ProjectWise CONNECT Services (PW Web, Deliverables Mgmt, iTwin, Insights, Forms, etc.).
? Install, configure, and maintain ProjectWise Explorer, Rendition profiles, WRE workflows, attribute exchanges, and saved searches.
? Troubleshoot infrastructure, configuration, and user access issues across a distributed ProjectWise environment.
? Collaborate with design teams to create system solutions that align with delivery needs.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience administering ProjectWise in a technical capacity.
- Advanced understanding of project controls and document control principles (WBS, CPM, metadata configuration, workflows).
- Experience managing databases (Oracle, SQL Server), integrations (APIs, PowerShell), and middleware.
- Demonstrated experience with ProjectWise infrastructure, environments, workflows, and Deliverables Management tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and Service Desk ticketing systems.
- Strong documentation and communication skills with an ability to train diverse user communities.
- Resource must be able to qualify for a UK secret clearance.
