Payroll & Pensions Manager £37k 26 days A / L + BH's
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Payroll & Pensions Manager, working as part of a compassionate team, at an award-winning Employer of Choice in Canterbury.
In this role, you'll manage the payroll for a company of 400 employees (not managing a payroll team), oversee pensions, handle payroll queries, and manage service contracts.

Salary: £37,000 gross per annum
Duration: Fixed Term (initially 18 months)
Hours: Flexible hours between 28 - 35 hours per week (4 to 5 days), Monday to Friday
Your key responsibilities:
* Ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll data management
* Manage pension schemes with precision
* Provide calculations and technical advice on payroll queries
* Oversee outsourced payroll services and contracts
* Administer life insurance schemes effectively
Qualifications and experience:
* Proven experience managing a complex payroll function in a similar organisation
* Pensions knowledge
* Experience managing external service providers
* In-depth knowledge of statutory payroll legislation and employer liabilities
* Familiarity with basic UK employment legislation
* Exceptional Excel skills, with the ability to simplify complex information
