My client is a market leader in digital living home care solutions, offering a comprehensive product portfolio from alarm buttons to AI-driven camera solutions enhancing social and elderly care. Now looking to hire an additional Installations Engineer within the team, responsible for installing and configuring systems, conducting general maintenance and troubleshooting, ensuring adherence to safety standards, etc. This position would suit a confident ‘handy person’ comfortable with home/general DIY, able to confidently use power tools, and possessing extremely strong customer-facing skills while working closely with clients in their homes to ensure all installations are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. We are looking for someone in South London, Croydon, Bromley, Maidstone area to cover the South London, Maidstone and South Surrey patch. The role requires daily travel to different locations, providing a dynamic and varied work environment.
Responsibilities and Required Skills
* Technical ability: qualified/experienced to a sufficient level and competent to conduct general installations (DIY, power tool skills).
* Communication: ensure effective communication between Sales, the National Installations Manager and other Installations and Service Engineers.
* IT: confident with MS packages, ability to complete online documentation accurately.
* Teamwork: work with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all installations and support services are delivered on time and company goals are met.
* Planning: stay ahead of the game and ensure that plans are achieved.
* Problem Solving: adapt to the ever-changing environment and react quickly to meet challenges.
* Customer Service: must be a clear communicator, able to demonstrate patience and empathy.
* Driving licence: a full UK driving licence is a must.
* Strong English language skills, both verbal and written, essential for this role.
Job Details
Permanent. Salary £27,000 - £30,000. Applicants must be able to drive, be happy to travel/cover their territory.
