Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting Experienced and Trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team in children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We are seeking flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals eager to work in a specialist environment with full training and qualifications provided.
The role involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people aged 11 to 18 with challenging behaviour and complex needs. The aim is to create an environment catering to their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will support young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. Interaction with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers is also required, supporting young people in environments like classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A valid driving license is essential, as you will be required to drive the unit car and transport young people to destinations such as family contacts, school, and social activities.
Applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully finish one of our induction programs before placements are offered.
