Senior Care Assistant (Nights) – Mariposa & Papillon Care
Location: Derwent | Contract: Permanent | Hourly rate: £14.21 per hour
Overview
At Derwent, we’re searching for an experienced Senior Care Assistant (Nights) to help guide our care team and support our residents in living happy, healthy and independent lives. If you have experience in care and have previously helped supervise a team, this could be the perfect role for you.
What’s the job about?
As a Senior Carer, you’ll combine hands-on care with team leader duties. It’s about ensuring every resident receives the very best care while mentoring and supporting colleagues to be their best. Key responsibilities include:
* Coaching and mentoring your team so they’re confident and skilled in every part of their role.
* Supporting residents with a range of personal care needs while maintaining dignity, respect, and privacy.
* Ensuring every resident has a comprehensive and up-to-date care plan and guiding your team to follow it.
* Dispensing medication with accuracy and keeping detailed records.
This role combines hands-on care with supervisory responsibilities, balancing tasks while keeping residents’ happiness and wellbeing at the heart of what you do.
