Our facilities function plays a vital role in supporting the business by ensuring our offices are safe, compliant, welcoming and professionally presented. We are now looking for a proactive and reliable Facilities Assistant, based at our Irlam head office, to support multiple office locations across the business. This is a mobile role requiring regular travel between sites. The Role and Responsibilities As a Facilities Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining consistent standards across all office locations. Working independently across sites, you will ensure our working environments are safe, clean and fit for purpose. Key responsibilities include: Travelling between allocated office sites to carry out regular housekeeping and cleanliness audits Completing audit checklists, reports and photographic evidence as required Identifying issues relating to hygiene, health & safety, cleanliness and building presentation Liaising with cleaning contractors and on-site teams to address audit findings Following up on corrective actions and completing re-audits where necessary Reporting defects, damage and maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager Carrying out basic facilities tasks, including: Checking washrooms, kitchens, communal areas and meeting rooms Monitoring consumables such as toiletries and cleaning supplies Supporting minor moves, room setups and space resets Ensuring compliance with company standards, policies and health & safety requirements Maintaining accurate records of site visits, reports and mileage Representing Morson Praxis professionally when engaging with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders What We're Looking For Essential: Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly between sites Strong attention to detail and ability to spot issues quickly Good organisational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload Basic IT skills (email, spreadsheets, mobile reporting tools) Desirable: Experience in facilities, housekeeping, cleaning audits or property management Knowledge of health & safety or hygiene standards Experience working with contractors or service providers What's in It for You A varied, mobile role with regular travel between office locations Mileage expenses paid in line with company policy 26 days' annual leave plus bank holidays Pension scheme Flexible working to support site and operational needs A stable, long-term opportunity within a growing organisation The chance to make a visible, positive impact on colleagues' day-to-day working environments Supportive facilities and operations team within the wider Morson Group Morson Praxis is proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
