I am looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to work in the South Hampshire area. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.
Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: South Hampshire
Contract: Freelance
Rate: £500-£530 per day- PAYE
When: ASAP

Duties will include:
1. Liaise with the design team, construction team and supply team on a regular basis to investigate and control cost
2. Highlight when correspondence with the sub-contractors and main contractors is required
3. Monitor and manage any changes that may occur throughout the project
4. Keep compliant with commercial records and that they are obtained correctly
5. Ensure the project cost, and value is up to date and recorded correctly
6. Manage budgets and forecasting correctly
7. Working collaboratively with different teams to produce the best result
8. Supporting Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors with their roles
9. Contributing positively to a healthy work environment
Skills Required:
10. Having a strong background of working within the water industry
11. Have a certificate of Qualification for Quantity Surveying with a recognised institution
12. Must have wastewater experience
13. Have a degree within the Quantity Surveying Sector
14. Valid Full UK Driving LIcence
15. Safe delivery of water projects to time, cost, and quality
16. Be confident working in a team and adapting to more responsibility
17. NEC-3 contract experience
18. Experience managing others within a team
Skills Desirable:
19. Ambitious and dynamic personality
20. Experience of working on Water Industry construction projects, preferably with experience of large and complex deliveries
21. Someone with a commitment to Right first time
22. Ideally have 5 years water
