Job Description
The Role
As aQuantity Surveyor, youll be responsible for thecommercial and financial managementof Groundworks and Civil Engineering projects, ensuring value is maximized and risks are managed effectively.
Youll work closely with our operations and estimating teams, liaising with clients, site teams, and supply chain partners to ensure projects are delivered on budget and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the commercial aspects of multiple Groundworks and Civils projects from tender through to final account.
* Prepare, submit, and negotiate valuations, variations, and final accounts with contractors and developers.
* Monitor project costs, forecasts, and budgets to ensure profitability and cashflow.
* Support the preparation and agreement of subcontractor packages and payments.
* Maintain strong working relationships with clients, site managers, and supply chain partners.
* Provide accurate commercial reporting and financial updates to senior management.
* Assist in tender reviews, cost planning, and commercial risk assessments.
* Ensure all works comply with contract requirements and company procedures.
Requirements
