Overview
Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for English (L 2-6). Permanent - Full Time. This is a non-class based leadership role with dedicated time to undertake crucial responsibilities and to support safeguarding as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. Visits to the school are welcome.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to school leadership as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
* Support safeguarding as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
* Lead and develop English across the school and contribute to strategic leadership of English.
* Model high-quality teaching and learning and support staff development.
* Promote the vision and values of the school and maintain high professional standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Passionate about English and ambitious for every child to achieve their full potential.
* Experience of high-quality teaching and learning in a current setting.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents.
* Experience or potential to contribute to strategic leadership of English across the school.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning from others.
