This is an exciting opportunity for an immediately available finance professional to join a dynamic and supportive environment, with a strong possibility of the role becoming permanent. The Role: This position sits within the finance team and primarily focuses on purchase ledger responsibilities, with additional exposure to bank reconciliations and month-end support. It's a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced business. Key Responsibilities: Processing high-volume purchase invoices Supplier statement reconciliations Preparing and processing payment runs Dealing with supplier queries in a professional and timely manner Assisting with bank and account reconciliations Supporting the finance team with month-end processes Other ad hoc finance duties as required The Ideal Candidate: Immediately available or on a very short notice period Proven experience in purchase ledger / accounts payable Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills Comfortable working in a high-volume environment Confident with MS Excel and finance systems (experience with ERP systems a plus) Team player with a proactive attitude Remuneration: £13 - £15 per hour (dependent on experience) Holiday Pay On-site working with some hybrid working available (Ely office) Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
