Maintenance Person/Caretaker (on-site) – Suffolk Rural College in Otley
* Starting salary is £26,310 per annum
* 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (shift pattern)
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Estates & Facilities team at Suffolk Rural College in Otley as a Maintenance Person/Caretaker, working on a regular shift rota as part of the team covering the operational hours of the department.
Responsibilities
* General building maintenance
* Building security
* Managing deliveries
* Operate machinery and tools to undertake maintenance tasks
* Use cleaning chemicals to undertake associated tasks
* Work as part of a small team with the ability to work on own initiative
* Prioritise tasks and work efficiently with attention to detail
Qualifications and Requirements
* Basic knowledge of general maintenance is essential
* Basic knowledge of carpentry or plumbing would be beneficial
* Ability to travel between campuses; a driving licence is essential
