We're recruiting on behalf of an exciting, fast-growing neurodevelopmental healthcare provider for ADOS Autism Assessors to join their multidisciplinary teams in Exeter and Norwich. The Role You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary assessment team, delivering: In-person child observations at clinic Peer MDT diagnostic decision-making, with senior clinical support where required Hours & Working Arrangements Full-time is preferred, though part-time is available (minimum 3 days per week, with flexibility for 1 day remote). Both employed and self-employed arrangements are on offer — please specify your preference when applying. What You'll Need Active registration with HCPC, NMC, or Social Work England (Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Nurse, or Social Worker) Completion of a recognised ADOS-2 course (Clinical Psychologists may be considered without this) At least 1 year of experience delivering children's observations within an autism assessment process (ages 2–18) Strong time management and caseload management skills Excellent communication skills with parents and patients Enhanced DBS with barred list check Desirable: Experience conducting risk assessments within an autism assessment service Safeguarding training Level 3 or above What's on Offer For employed roles: £68,000–£72,000 per year (depending on experience) 34 days annual leave (including bank holidays and your birthday) Option to buy an additional 5 days per year 10 days paid sabbatical every 3 years of service 5% employer pension contribution Private medical insurance & Employee Assistance Programme Professional registration fees covered Home office equipment allowance Share options (for those working 32 hours per week) NHS / Blue Light Card discounts Protected CPD time, clinical supervision, and clear career progression pathways For self-employed roles: £300–£350 per observation (depending on experience) Travel costs covered if you live more than 30 minutes from clinic Accommodation covered if you live more than 2 hours away Why This Role Stands Out This provider is clinically-led, CQC-registered, and outcomes-focused.
