Due to continued success and growth, they are now seeking to recruit a Filters and Dryers assembler based in Stroud. The appropriate candidate would be responsible for assembly and test of high precision components and associated parts for oil and gas sector. What youll do: Take responsibility for themselves and others to ensure work is carried out safely and in line with the Companys Health and Safety policies and procedures. Carryout the building and testing of high- & low-pressure dryers including overhaul requirements returned from the customer. Carryout the building and testing of filters and the assembly of spares. Maintain traceability of key components through the material A numbers. Support the daily stand-up team meetings, providing information on progress to the plan and any issues affecting performance. (Safety, Quality, Operational issues) Work in a manner which demonstrates 5S standards of working, helps creates a good environment to work and supports improved Efficiency, Quality & Safety within the Filter & Dryer department. Follow the instructions of the works travellers and any assembly / testing procedures. Ensure all Production Hours are captured in Visual through the booking of time on the works traveller. Be aware of the estimated time allocated on the works traveller, monitoring your own performance to ensure the time being taken meets the estimated costed time given. Where necessary report any misalignment to your supervisor. All non-productive hours must be captured through the booking of time on the relevant Fault Code. Ensure an NCR is completed for any non-conforming issues. Assist with any other duties which may be necessary within the Filter & Dryer department.What youll need Full indentured apprenticeship or relevant knowledge & experience highlighted on CV. Ability to carry out operations which are performed within the Filter & Dryer workshop: Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Inspection of machined parts, plating, paint & final.
