The Role
Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of social housing refurbishment projects across London and the South East.
This role will involve managing multiple refurbishment schemes simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will work closely with site teams, commercial teams, and senior leadership to ensure the successful delivery of projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the delivery of multiple social housing refurbishment projects from mobilisation through to completion.

Manage and support site managers and project teams, ensuring projects run efficiently and safely.

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, contractual requirements, and company procedures.

Monitor programme, budgets, and performance across projects, implementing corrective actions where necessary.

Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
*
Work closely with commercial teams to support cost control and financial performance.
*
Conduct regular site visits, project reviews, and progress meetings.
*
Ensure projects are delivered to high quality standards and client expectations.
What We're Looking For

Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager role within construction.

Strong background delivering social housing refurbishment, regeneration, or planned works projects.
*
Experience managing multiple projects and site teams simultaneously.
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and construction best practices.
*
Commercial awareness and ability to support project profitability and delivery targets.
