This position is subject to an enhanced criminal records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formally CRB) which will require you to disclose details of all unspent and unfiltered spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions in your application form. Your appointment will also be subject to two references. We would love to invite you to join our fabulous school family as a business manager, a vital role for our school. We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking, well-motivated School Business Manager to join our supportive team who always put children at the heard of their decisions. As School Business Manager, you will be expected to provide a confidential and efficient, high quality support service in the areas of finance, premises management, HR and administration to facilitate the smooth running of the school. This will be including providing daily support to the Head Teacher and line management support to financial administration staff, the schools admin team and the Site Manager. You will be an excellent communicator, forward-thinker and creative leader who is able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone who: Has highly developed leadership skills and the ability to inspire others Has the ability to manage a range of stakeholders Is able to manage a budget successfully and efficiently Can take ownership for their work and use their initiative Can balance finance with the needs of the children In return we can offer you: A highly supportive school where we take care of each other The opportunity to develop the role Supportive environment with a strong commitment to high quality professional development Extremely hard working and committed staff, who all strive for the very best for the children The job is for 28 hours per week. - there is some flexibility on how these hours can be arranged.
