Operations Assistant – Wrexham Industrial Estate

I’m currently recruiting for an Operations Assistant to join a busy and fast-paced depot based on Wrexham Industrial Estate.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, coordinating logistics, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting up new customer contracts on the internal system
* Arranging bin deliveries and removals
* Planning and coordinating vehicle routes
* Liaising with drivers and customers on a daily basis
* Rerouting vehicles when required to resolve operational issues
* Maintaining accurate records and updating management systems
* Supporting with general office and administrative duties
What we’re looking for:
* Experience working in a fast-paced transport or logistics office (planning/routing vehicles is highly desirable)
* Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work well as part of a team
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* 1 in 6 Saturdays
