Job Opportunity: Maintenance Professional in the Education Sector
Are you an experienced Maintenance Professional looking to transition into the Education sector?
I am currently recruiting a Maintenance professional to support a school site team in day-to-day general maintenance and site work on an ongoing temporary basis.
Previous School Maintenance/Caretaker experience is preferred but not essential. There are full-time and part-time positions available throughout the school year, with varying durations. There may also be an opportunity to move to a permanent contract within the school, although this is not guaranteed.
You must be available to start as soon as possible and be flexible with working hours, as shift work may be required.
Responsibilities include:
* Carrying out general maintenance and litter picking
* Performing odd jobs delegated by the supervisor
* Opening and closing the school building
* Working independently and as part of a team to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
* Setting alarms
Requirements:
You will need to fully register with us, providing right to work documents and obtaining an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS, which we will process at a cost of £56.49 (unless you already have one registered on the update service). Please only apply if you can do this.
