Social Worker - Adults Multi-Disciplinary Team

Role: Social Work – Mental Health Officer

Specialism: Mental Health Officer – Adults with Incapacity work, focusing on hospital discharge planning

Job Location: Argyll & Bute, either Cowal or Lomond

Salary: £43 per hour

Appointment Duration: 12 weeks, starting as soon as possible

Hours of Work: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

What you will do:

* Conduct Adults with Incapacity work, primarily focusing on creating and managing effective hospital discharge plans.
* Provide expert guidance and support to service users, ensuring their needs are fully met within the community.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive social work services.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
* Engage with service users and their families, providing them with the necessary support and information to navigate the care system.

Essentials:

* A degree or equivalent qualification in social work
* Current registration with Social Work England
* Significant frontline experience in social services within the UK
