Joining the Transport Hub as a Passenger Assistant is a fun, active way to do just that. Using our fleet of modern, wheelchair accessible minibuses, you’ll work closely with our drivers to provide safe, supportive and friendly journeys for our day care passengers. Whether you’re an experienced passenger assistant or starting out in this rewarding field of work, you’ll be instrumental in helping our passengers to access the care they need. We are looking for candidates who: Live locally to the Hastings and St Leonards area, or are willing to travel to this location for work Are caring, supportive, and understanding of the needs of older people, disabled people, and those with learning disabilities Are able to communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues Are able to undertake moving and handling tasks associated with passenger transport Are committed to providing excellent customer service and maintaining passenger confidentiality This post is a permanent position offering 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Your standard working hours will be based on split shifts from 8.00am - 10.30am and 2.30pm – 5.00pm.
