About the job you’re considering
You will be an integral part of the Intelligent Finance and Accounting Operations (IFAO) Practice’s Consulting organiszation where you will help guide our clients towards large-scale transformations using automation and technology solutions at the very forefront of innovation.
The Fast Track to Consulting (FTTC) programme sits within the IFAO and is designed for talented graduates and early-career professionals who want to combine technology, finance, and creative design to help clients solve complex business and technology challenges.
You will join Capgemini as a permanent employee on the FTTC Graduate Programme, taking part in a structured 12-month development journey designed to accelerate your early-career growth. Throughout the programme, you will gain valuable, transferable skills that will help you progress into a fully trained consultant. After completing the programme, you will continue your career with Capgemini as a permanent member of the team.
As graduate on our IFAO team, you'll receive ongoing coaching and regular reviews from colleagues who will support and guide you through the start of your career at Capgemini. This will ensure you continue to elevate your career and further enrich your experience at Capgemini long after the programme has ended.
You are also given the opportunity to rotate across multiple projects, roles and clients, giving you exposure to diverse disciplines including consulting, project management and change management.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employmentchecks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service)
Your role
* You’ll offer consultancy expertise, implementing large scale finance transformation projects, applying best-in-class standards and process transformation methodologies
* You’ll be involved in the development and optimisation of cloud and platform-based products and applications, helping our clients transform their business
* You’ll implement solutions across all areas of the business, for example, Procure to Pay, Record to Analyse, Order to Cash, Project and Change Management, and Financial Planning & Analytics

Your skills and experience
* A bachelor’s degree, with the capacity to understand, interpret, and translate data into clear insights
* A strong interest in finance transformation and digital solutions, with the motivation to contribute to business process improvements.
* Interest or foundational experience in technical areas such as programming, automation, systems, or application development is a plus
* Critical thinking and a problem-solving mindset with effective decision-making skills
* Strong commercial awareness, with an interest in understanding business drivers and client value in a cross-functional, cross-border setting
* Exceptional organisational skills, with the capacity to work autonomously and adapt to change effectively
* Interpersonal skills, with the confidence to speak up, ask the right questions, and clearly articulate ideas to both clients and internal stakeholders
* Fantastic communication in verbal and written English, fluency in additional languages would be advantageous
* Strong practical knowledge and skills of MS Office package (Power Point, Excel, Word).
* Openness to global travel and variable working hours, as required by project needs.
