Data Administrator Contract: 3 months

Based: Glascoed, NP15 1XL

Hourly Rate: PAYE £13.94 OR £18.53 Umbrella inside IR3; 37 hours Monday – Friday – onsite 2 days per week

Overview

BAE Systems is seeking a Master Data Administrator to join its Master Data team on a contingent basis. The successful candidate will support a series of data improvement initiatives focused on cleansing, validating and enhancing supplier and customer master data.

Skills

• Previous experience working within a Master Data, Data Governance or Data Quality environment
• Experience using ERP systems
• Strong data analysis and data cleansing capabilities
• Experience handling large datasets with a high degree of accuracy

Responsibilities

• Cleanse, validate and maintain supplier and customer master data across multiple systems
• Identify, analyse and resolve data quality issues including duplicates, missing information and inconsistencies
• Perform bulk data updates in accordance with governance and control procedures
• Support data migration, transformation and system implementation activities
• Work closely with Procurement, Finance, Sales and IT teams to resolve data discrepancies
• Apply agreed data standards, naming conventions and enrichment rules
• Conduct data profiling, reconciliation and validation activities
• Maintain accurate documentation of data cleansing activities, decisions and outcomes
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Master Data function
