Deputy Manager – Supported Living (Learning Disabilities)
Location: Sunderland
Salary: £29,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 per week

The Role:
As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in leading and supporting a dedicated team to deliver high-quality supported living services. You will ensure services are person-centred, compliant with CQC requirements, and focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
Key Requirements:
* A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential).
* Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
* Experience in supported living or domiciliary care.
* Management / leadership experience (essential), with relevant qualification (desirable).
* Knowledge of CQC regulations and the Health & Social Care Act.
* Experience in creating rosters, maintaining compliance paperwork, and leading audits.
* Ability to review and develop support plans, risk assessments, and client documentation.
* Flexible, adaptable, and resilient, with a caring and approachable nature.
* British Sign Language skills (desirable).
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise care staff and act as service lead in the absence of the Registered Manager.
* Ensure policies, procedures, and regulatory standards are met.
* Build strong relationships with clients, families, and staff teams.
* Promote and safeguard client well-being.
* Conduct supervisions, appraisals, and regular team meetings.
* Maintain accurate and audit-ready records.
* Support the continuous improvement of services.
