What will you be doing?
We’re excited to expand our Digital division with Apprentice Engineering Technologist to join our Professional Development Programme for our 2026 intake, based in Hattersley in the Central Services Framework.
Working within the Digital team you will be an integral part of the delivery of many projects by providing assistance in the following:
1. Support the Engineering Technologist and regional digital teams with day‑to‑day digital delivery tasks.
2. Assist in creating flythrough animations, visual sequences, and project imagery for engineering and operational teams.
3. Help build digital assets using tools such as 3ds Max, CAD software, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, and InfraWorks (with training provided).
4. Produce clear visual content that accurately communicates technical efficiently once trained, helping to deliver digital outputs to agreed deadlines.
5. Proactively seek required information from central and regional teams to support digital project work.
6. Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving digital products, workflows, and visual outputs.
7. Help manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in an organised and professional manner.
8. Support the development of new digital services to keep the business at the forefront of industry innovation
9. Maintain good attention to detail and quality when producing digital media or technical artwork.
10. Collaborate with engineering, operational, and digital teams to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
