Role Summary
Are you ready to take the lead in a dynamic role as a Civil & Electrical Field Manager? We are on the lookout for a passionate individual to oversee and engage with day-to-day site operations, providing essential support and guidance for ongoing works. In this role, you will ensure that all activities align with statutory requirements and adhere to our company and client policies across the Northern Powergrid (NPg) network in Yorkshire.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Field Manager, you will:
* Ensure compliance with Company Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality policies.
* Promote a culture of safety in all site operations.
* Verify that all personnel are trained and competent for their tasks.
* Recognize best practices and encourage innovative ideas.
* Exemplify and promote our company values.
* Maintain up-to-date records and registers daily.
* Take ownership of work activities, ensuring effective planning and execution.
* Engage positively with clients and stakeholders for seamless communication.
* Supervise and monitor the performance of all site operational teams.
What We Are Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Experience in the utility industry.
* Previous experience with NPg is a plus, but not essential.
* Knowledge of electricity networks.
* CDM site management experience.
* Excellent organizational and programming skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Emergency First Aid certification.
* A full driving license.
* NEBOSH/SMSTS level safety accreditation (desirable).
* NRSWA certification (desirable).
* DNO Authorisations (desirable).
