Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to food safety standards
* Lead, train, and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative environment
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and presentation standards
* Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations
* Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
* Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
* Provide exceptional service to guests, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally
* Collaborate with management to implement training programmes for new staff members
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development
* Previous experience in kitchen or barista roles is advantageous
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers
