We are working with a national insurance broker who are seeking an experienced Account Handler to join their team in Billericay. The role involves providing day-to-day support for a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance arrangements are managed accurately and efficiently.
The Role
* Handle day-to-day servicing of a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
* Prepare and process renewals, mid-term adjustments, and policy documentation.
* Liaise with clients, insurers, and Account Executives to resolve queries.
* Support Account Executives with renewal reports and meeting preparation.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with FCA requirements.
* Build and maintain long-term client relationships through reliable service.
Skills and Experience
* Experience as a Commercial Account Handler or in a similar broking role.
* Good knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.
* Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation and administration skills.
* Clear communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with clients and insurers.
* Organised and able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
* Cert CII or working towards (desirable).
