Van Delivery Driver – Bradley Stoke, Bristol
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Delivery Driver based in Bradley Stoke, Bristol .

Shifts:
Monday to Friday/Saturday – start times between 09:00 - 18:30
Rates of Pay:
£14.25 per hour basic / overtime after 40 hours £21.38 an hour

Day-to-Day Duties
Your duties as Van Delivery Driver are:
Carry out multi-drop deliveries (40-50 drops per day)
Load and unload Vehicle
Deliver shipments to clients / customers
Collect shipments from local customers
Ensure all loads are safe and secure
Complete vehicle inspections and report faults
Operate a 3.5 tonne van safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
Communicate effectively with staff at delivery locations
Essential Skills:
The skills required to be a Delivery Van Driver are:
Previous multi-drop experience
Valid UK Category B Driving Licence
Strong knowledge of vehicle operation and driving regulations
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to identify and report vehicle safety issues
Good understanding of road networks and navigational tools
Ability to work to tight deadlines and use own initiative
Desirable Experience
• Experience driving commercial vehicles
Training Provided
Industry-related training provided and ongoing support throughout
