Rutherford Cross is supporting a well-established organisation in South Lanarkshire with the appointment of an Interim Functional Consultant for a 6-month period as they progress through a major implementation of Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations. We are looking for an experienced individual to support the business through key phases of the programme, including configuration, data migration, testing, go-live preparation and early life support. The Role: Working as part of the project team, you will act as a hands-on functional expert across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehousing and Quality. You will work closely with business SMEs, external consultants and global stakeholders to ensure the implementation meets operational and financial requirements. Key Responsibilities: Support configuration activities and ensure business needs are implemented in the solution Lead and validate data migration activities Prepare for and support system testing Produce end-user documentation and support training delivery Contribute to cutover planning and go-live support Partner with business stakeholders to ensure processes are fully adopted Experience Required: Proven experience as a D365 Functional Consultant or similar role in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of end-to-end ERP processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Warehousing Hands-on experience in data migration and testing Confident communicator able to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment On Offer: Competitive day rate For more information on this opportunity, please contact Christina McLean at Rutherford Cross and Rachel Sim at Livingston James.
